Kodak announced the sale of five KODAK PROSPER ULTRA 520 Presses at drupa 2024 to an existing offset customer, over a three-year period. Taking full advantage of KODAK ULTRASTREAM Inkjet Technology and KODACHROME Inks, the PROSPER ULTRA 520 Press delivers offset-quality print at speeds up to 152 mpm (500 fpm). Operating at top speed and print resolution for all supported paper weights and grades, the PROSPER ULTRA 520 provides the highest image quality. “We are delighted to announce a letter of intent for the revolutionary PROSPER ULTRA 520 Press. With an open mind for new technology, this is a printing company that will immediately benefit from the application and quality advantages of our innovative inkjet press. It offers users in all segments of the commercial print market a highly efficient solution for high-output, cost-effective printing of a wide variety of applications,” said Jim Continenza, executive chairman and CEO, Kodak.
